ShanghaiTex 2009 to host 9 exhibition halls

The 14th International Exhibition on Textile Machinery (SHANGHAITEX 2009) will host nine exhibition halls this year at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China, from June 12 to 15.

The Hall E1-E2 will show latest development in the fields of spinning, nonwovens and technical textile machinery, Hall E3 in weaving machinery, Hall E4 in spare parts and accessories, Hall W1-W2 in knitting & hosiery machinery, as well as Halls W3,W4 and W5 in the sectors of printing, dyeing & finishing machinery and textile chemicals.

The exhibition achieved a show scale of 120,000 square meters in the previous edition in 2007, serving over 1,500 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions. It attracted a visitor flow over 100,000 from around the world, according to Adsale Exhibition Service Ltd.

There are high hopes of China’s economic performance in 2009 and Chinese advanced manufacturing players are expected to help maintain domestic economic growths. The organizing committee of SHANGHAITEX 2009 says it is working to stage a better and more efficient exhibition, providing business networking and opportunities to both domestic and global textile industry.
