OUR STORY

Textilemirror was founded by the student of the Dept. of Textile Engineering (Southeast University,Banani,Dhaka)  in early of 2008.

Southeast University is one of the prestigious Private University of Bangladesh.Dept. of Textile Engineering started it’s journey from Spring,2006 and from then it’s growing faster & has already achieved huge popularity in quality Textile Education within a short time.

However, after getting admission in Textile Engineering I, M. R. SOHEL (Editor in Chief of Textilemirror) got interest to know the present situation of domestic & world primery and secondary textile (RMG).But I didn’t find such a source from which I can know the informations.There was no individual Newsaper or Megazine specially based on Textile,Apparel or Fashion both paper base & digital.I found some detouched news published on the regular daily Newspapers.Then I started searching on the net but I found some which claimed to me lots of US $ to subscribe there.I was frasteted and from this scarcity of news & information , an idea came in me.I started thinking about how to ensure the availability of news & information to the student.

Then I shared my ideas with my friends.All my friends agreed with me and we planed to publish a wallpaper named Textilemirror in our campus every month.We did it in which we sourced News & Articles from different news medias.

But we realized that our works are accessible only by our university students.The scarcity still remains for others.Next we thought to find out any way so that everyone can access our works.Actually, we wanted to globalize it (Textilemirror) so that we can provide more news & information.

Eventually, we develop www.textilemirror.com and successfully launched it in the early of 2009.
